IGuard999 protection app sends out live help and check in notifications to registered contacts.
It's totall FREE to download and available for both Apple and Android phones.
Help Me Now button. When a user selects this button it sends out an instant live help notification to the 5 family and friends you registered when you signed up. It tells them you need help and also uses GPS to pinpoint your location. They can call you direct from the app. Your call for help will remain live until you cancel it and you also have the option to call 999 direct from the app. You can still make a call if needed but sometimes seconds are vital and the instant Help Me Now button saves you scrolling through your contact list or wasting time texting. This is ideal if you are doing any of the following:
Out walking your dog and feel threatened.
On your way home and feel threatened.
At home or work alone and have an accident.
Home alone and someone is trying to break in.
Broke down in a vehicle and not a member of any rescue service.
Lost and isolated.
Check Me In button. This is mainly for reassurance and peace of mind. If you have family living alone or anyone suffering from anxiety, depression or mental health problems or children playing out they can check in instantly with one click. It sends a live notification out to the 5 contacts in their family and friends list just to let them know they are ok and all is fine. You can always call or chat but sometimes a simple check me in is reassurance and peace of mind. This is ideal for families with kids. They tend to get embarassed when your calling them all the time sometimes an instant check me in notification gives you peace of mind.
Both these buttons are there for your safety. Hopefully you may never need to use the Help Me Now button but its better than nothing. There is also a link to a Facebook page that supports Iguard999 by allowing you to post lost and found items, stolen items, report suspicious behaviour and general calls for help. You can invite your family and friends from the app and also when you add 5 contacts to your family and friends list they will automatically receive a notification inviting them to download the app.

Here is a quick tip. When you download the app and sign up it will ask you to register up to 5 contacts. Put your own mobile number in here only then follow prompts.
When you have completed regsitration it will open up your text editor and send a preset message saying you have added as emergency contact. Because you put your own number in it will send to yourself but it shows you what your regsitered contacts will receive.
When finished select the help me now button or check in button and you will receive the live notifictions that your contacts will see when you register them. Go to the user menu select edit and then input up to 5 family and friends contacts.
Do not forget to scroll to bottom of page and update or your changes will NOT be saved.
